Background and experience
SarahRose is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been working in human services since 2008. She graduated from State University of New York at New Paltz (Sociology Concentration Human Services class of 2011) and University at Albany (Masters in Clinical Social Work class of 2014) with honors. She has worked in child welfare, public schools, outpatient clinics, healthcare centers ,and group private practice before starting her own practice in Kingston, NY in 2016.
SarahRose is trained in treating a variety of challenges including trauma and stress related disorders, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, depressive disorders, and adjustment disorders. These disorders may appear as a person withdrawing, having a drop in grades, conflicts at school, daily worrying, panic attacks, low mood, and compulsive behaviors. My hope is that you will discuss your needs with me so I can express how I can be helpful.
SarahRose employs a number of evidenced based practices to fit your families needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Trauma Focused Cogntive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy and Social Thinking.
